Pivitt / B2B branding

B2B branding for firms whose work has outgrown their brand.

B2B buyers shortlist on the proposal, the website and the deck long before they meet you. Pivitt is a London brand consultancy and B2B branding agency: we set the position, write the messaging for each person in the buying group, build the identity and produce the sales materials buyers judge you on, with one senior team from diagnosis to the documents your people send every week.

In B2B the brand is part of every bid. Buyers judge the proposal, the website and the deck before they judge the work.

What it changesWhat B2B branding changes
BeforeAfter

Proposals rebuilt from old versions, each one looking slightly different.

One proposal and deck system the whole team produces from, on brand every time.

Pitches only land when the founder is in the room.

A position and a story the whole sales team can tell without the founder.

Buyers file you under your parent group or a bigger competitor.

A position buyers can repeat back, separate from the parent and the pack.

Price is the first thing a buyer argues about.

The brand carries the case for the fee before the meeting starts.

Sound familiar?When you need this

Your proposals look different depending on who wrote them.

Buyers still describe you as part of the parent company, or as a smaller version of a competitor.

Your website was built for the firm you were three years ago.

You win once you are in the room, and miss the rooms you never get into.

How it worksThe approach
01

Diagnose

We score the brand against the business and audit it beside the firms buyers compare you with.

02

Define

We set the position and the messaging for each person in the buying group.

03

Build and run

We build the identity, the website and the proposal, deck and tender templates, then stay on to run the work so the brand holds as the team grows.

Common questions

B2B branding, answered

What does a B2B branding agency do?

It sets how a business-to-business firm is positioned and presented to buyers: the position it can prove, the messaging for each person in the buying group, the identity, and the proposals, decks, tenders and website the sales process runs on. Pivitt is a brand consultancy that does all of this with one senior team.

How is B2B branding different from consumer branding?

B2B purchases are made by a group, over a longer sales cycle, and judged on documents as much as on advertising. The brand has to work in a tender, a proposal and a first meeting, and give each person in the buying group a reason to say yes. Our guide to B2B rebranding covers the process and what to measure.

How much does B2B branding cost?

Most engagements start with the Brand Alignment Diagnostic, a brand audit at £1,500, and everything after it is priced in writing before work starts. A full rebrand is scoped as a Brand Transformation Programme against the brief. The rebrand cost guide sets out UK market ranges.

Which B2B firms do you work with?

Established firms whose brand has not kept pace with the business, including consultancies, professional services, property and investment firms. Recent B2B work includes C-Quest and Black Mule within KEO Group, and Future Planet Capital.

An exceptional partner in our journey for success. The team at Pivitt offer so much more than creative support and production, the ability to offer guidance and advice on bigger strategic objectives is exceptional. This is based on an ability to develop a deep understanding of their clients but also being aware of current trends and activity.

We’ve worked with Pivitt for a number of years and they’ve become our go-to for branding and creative support. Our experience with other agencies in the past has ended up with mixed results, but with Pivitt we know that Davuud and the team will always go above and beyond. We’d never work with anyone else.

Pivitt has been a great find for our company as we have used several marketing companies over the years who promise the world but don’t deliver. Davuud is extremely knowledgeable and most certainly an expert in his field. His communication is first class and he delivers on what he promises.
