Pivitt / Services / Rebranding agency London

Rebranding agency for businesses that have outgrown their brand.

The business has merged, grown or changed what it sells, and the name, identity and story still describe the company it used to be. Pivitt is a London brand consultancy and rebranding agency. We rebrand from the strategy up: the position, the architecture, the identity and the rollout across every surface the business uses, starting with the Brand Alignment Diagnostic so the work fixes what the brand is actually costing you.

What it changesThe value, plainly
BeforeAfter

The name and story still describe the company you were five years ago.

A brand that describes the business you run today.

Clients meet a smaller firm in the pitch than the one they go on to hire.

The brand walks into the room as the firm you have become.

Every acquisition adds another logo and another way of describing the group.

One brand architecture, with a clear place for every business in it.

The last rebrand stopped at the launch, and old materials are still in circulation.

A rollout plan that reaches every proposal, template and sign.

Sound familiar?When you need this

The business has merged or acquired, and nobody can say what the group is called.

You win work once a client has met you, in spite of the brand.

Buyers judge you on the website and argue the price down.

The team describes the company four different ways.

How it worksThe approach
01

Diagnose

We score the brand against the business and agree what the rebrand has to fix.

02

Define and design

We set the position, the architecture and, where it is needed, the name, then build the identity from the positioning and test it on real materials.

03

Roll out

We produce the templates, guidelines and launch materials, and plan the switch-over.

Common questions

Rebranding, answered

What does a rebranding agency do?

A rebranding agency changes how a business is positioned, named, designed and described, so the brand matches the business it has become. At Pivitt that runs from a brand audit through positioning, brand architecture, naming where needed and identity, to the guidelines, templates and rollout that put the new brand on every surface.

How much does a rebrand cost in the UK?

It depends on how much has to change, from a refresh of the identity to a new position, name and rollout. Pivitt starts with the £1,500 Brand Alignment Diagnostic, and everything after it is priced in writing before work starts. Market price bands for each level are in our guide to rebrand costs.

How long does a rebrand take?

Most of the time goes on strategy and identity; rollout depends on how many surfaces the brand has to reach. The Diagnostic takes ten working days, and the plan that follows it sets the timeline before work starts. Typical timelines by scope are in our rebrand timeline guide.

When should a business rebrand?

When the business has outgrown the brand: after a merger or acquisition, a move into new markets or services, a change in who it sells to, or when clients keep meeting a smaller firm in the brand than the one they hire. The Brand Alignment Diagnostic shows whether a refresh or a full rebrand is the right scale of work.

Had a brilliant experience with Pivitt. Not only did they get what we were aiming for with our rebranding, but were instrumental in steering the direction. Super strategic in their approach, yet very creative. Loved the final design, and it’s really making a difference for our business.

I’ve worked with Pivitt for a few months now and they’ve really helped refine the brand direction and played a key role in helping us build a strategy that’s already showing impact. To say I recommend is an understatement.

Pivitt has really helped my business and allowed us to think strategically about our decisions and planning. We have been helped with understanding the business value we provide, being clear on our customer and messaging, and discussing the direction the business could go in.
